My interest in computer programming started at a very young age and has continued to grow over the years. In May 2014, two years before graduating from Corona del Sol High School, I earned a Certificate in Computer Programming from Mesa Community College. This gave me a strong foundation in coding before heading to college.
At Arizona State University, I dove into research while studying for a B.S. and M.S. in Biomedical Informatics from the College of Health Solutions, finishing by May 2021. After graduating, I went on to complete the Postbaccalaureate Pre-Professional Program (P4) in Life Sciences from Thomas Jefferson University in 2023. My goal is to become a physician–investigator so I can create new health solutions that help as many people as possible.
I am currently a full-time medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, class of 2029. I also work as a temporary Digital Health Tech Specialist at the Artificial Intelligence for Ambulatory Care Innovation Lab (AI-4-AI) at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and as a part-time Research Assistant at the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.
When I'm not in the classroom, lab, or clinic, I enjoy finding balance in working out and spending time with friends.
