My interest in computer programming began at a very young age and has continued to grow over the years. In May 2014, two years before graduating from Corona del Sol High School, I earned a Certificate in Computer Programming from Mesa Community College. This provided me with a strong coding foundation as I transitioned to higher education.
At Arizona State University, I began my research journey while pursuing my B.S. and M.S. in Biomedical Informatics from the College of Health Solutions, finishing by May 2021. I further advanced my education by completing the Postbaccalaureate Pre-Professional Program (P4) in Life Sciences from Thomas Jefferson University in 2023. My ultimate aspiration is to become a physician–investigator and develop innovative health solutions for the masses.
I am currently working as a Digital Health Tech Specialist at the Artificial Intelligence for Ambulatory Care Innovation Lab (AI-4-AI) at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. As part of the Reimagining Documentation Using Computation from Clinical Encounters (REDUCE) project, I am committed to advancing healthcare, starting with improving Electronic Health Records and patient-provider intercommunication. I am excited to contribute to this project alongside an exceptional team and to see its positive impact on healthcare.
Beyond the lab and clinic, I enjoy working out and spending time with friends to maintain balance in a demanding career that bridges research, software development, and medicine.
